Emotional Journey

I am so behind on everything! lol I am struggling to keep up with my daily workload, cleaning, taking care of the kids and enjoying summer ))) I know things will calm in the fall as they always do. I am just taking time to spend with my children enjoying the wonderful weather.

In the past couple of weeks the strangest things have been happening to me. It appears I am destined to take a journey confronting my past. It is one full of mixed emotions to add to my already current mixed emotions. I do feel that it is the Goddess's intention to have me confront these issues in order to help me determine what is going on in my current life. I am accepting the situations with open arms and working through them I will not delve into a lot of details but a few significant people from my past have just recently come back into my life and I am confronting some unresolved issues and situations. That's about as comfortable as I am in revealing them here.

One I do feel free to speak about. A very good friend from the past has come back into my life and I am so grateful she has. We seem to have found each other at a time where we could both use a confident to lean on Fondly enough she had explored the Wiccan path in the past, and due to our recent rekindling of our friendship she has decided to pursue it again. ) So not only have I regained a wonderful friend but also a spiritual one as well. I truly am blessed.

As for my journey through my past I will continue to meditate to help find my answers and follow my heart and hopefully the path that I am intended and seek the answers which I am meant to find.

Reiki Attunement

I received my Reiki Attunement for Levels 1 & 2 last night. :) I was so excited all day yesterday. I've been saving my money to get the attunement for a little while now.

The attunement was to be done for me by Lady Raven through Sacred Mists. It would be done while I was asleep. Last night I concentrated on trying to relax and just be ready to receive the attunement to be sent to me. I spent a couple hours watching tv and relaxing with a glass of wine on my own. At about 10:00 I went in and took a ritual bath to cleanse my mind and prepare myself to receive the energy being sent my way. The bath was amazing. I had my candles lit, and water to drink, and just spend a bit over a half hour relaxing and meditating to clear my mind.

After my bath I was amazingly calm and focused and definitely ready to go to sleep. I settled in and just tried to be openminded and ready for the attunement. My sleep last night was quite interesting. I awoke at one point and felt like I was just surrounded by light and almost had a floating feeling? Not sure how else to describe it, I wasn't fully awake and fell back to sleep quite quickly. I also remember feeling energy in the palms of my hands throughout the night. I didn't have any specific dreams last night but remember feeling a floating sensation and feeling like I was just comfortable and peaceful in the white light. I awoke this morning at 5:00 am very early for me and was amazed how energetic, balanced and focused I felt for that hour of the morning.

I woke up and can tell my body has already started the cleansing process to prepare me to be a better healer. My attitude today is amazing. I just feel balanced and so at peace with everything it is absolutely amazing.

I am looking forward to starting to work with the symbols and the energy. I will go through a 21 day cleansing period, and during this time I will work on Reiki on myself daily to learn how to manage the energy and work with the symbols given to me. :)) I am absolutely thrilled and looking forward to this next step in my spiritual journey. I am blessed to have the opportunity to be able to help heal with my hands. It truly is amazing to me.

Mystical Farm

It feels like ages since I've had the opportunity to write a post. I went to Cape Cod on vacation the past week I came back on Tuesday. On my return I had a really bad infection in my tooth which unfortunately kept me away from my work until today. I'm happy to report the antibiotics are finally fixing it and the pain is gone for now. Hoooray. :)) Enough about the tooth though ;) I wanted to write of an amazing experience I had at the Cape.

Anyone who knows me knows I am an ocean girl, and I definitely enjoyed my time at the ocean while I was there however one experience really left a lasting impression on me. We were staying at a house on Bray Farm Rd in Yarmouth Port Cape Cod. I was told there was a farm at the end of the street. On Sunday morning I decided to put Cole in his stroller and venture out for a walk with just the two of us. The walk itself was enjoyable as I love checking out houses and just going for walks in general. As I rounded the top of the hill I became awestruck as I first caught site of the farm. It was like walking back in time and to another country all in one. The pavement turned to a dirt road that went along the edge of the farm. As soon as I hit the dirt path with the stroller I noticed a fine mist coming down and me and I could feel the mist just rolling on the ground in the area. The mist extended as far as I could see.

I walked up the dirt path a bit and found a large rock on the side of the road. I could see it was engraved so of course I had to check it out. :) It was engraved with the following "Ye Old Taylor Rock, Near this rock about the year 1639 Richard Taylor built his house. Erected by George P and William Bray." The house itself was just a little ways from the rock. It was sunk into the hillside on the side of the dirt road just behind the house. I walked up the path a bit further and as I looked up I could see the fence along the edge of the farm and in the distance was a tree line with an opening that just looked over the mountains. With the rolling mist the scene was beyond breathtaking and I was immediately calmed and felt at home.

They keep the farm open to the public so I brought the stroller up under a tree and unhooked Cole letting him down to wander free about the farm. I spent the next couple hours relaxing, following Cole and watching the donkeys, chickens, sheep and Scottish "coo's" or Scottish Highland Cattle:))) I could not have felt more comfortable or at home which I found strange for a place I had never been. It's very hard to put into words the experience that I had, but I know that it is one that I will not forget, and a time with my son that I will cherish forever. The pictures really don't do it justice but I tried to get some :)
