Merry Meet :)))
I am submitting my Lesson 12 homework today. A couple of days later than I wanted to but at least I have completed it :))) I loved this lesson. It was all about the Celts and Faery Wicca. Two areas that I have been anxious to explore.
I chose to read a book for this lesson as I really wanted to delve into the material further. I chose to read Celtic Traditions: Druids, Faeries, and Wiccan Rituals. I absolutely loved this book. It is why I am a couple days late in submitting my homework. I wanted to finish reading it before I turned in my homework. My previous journal entry was about a Meditation to find your Spirit animal guides that was from the Druid section of this book. The entire book was very interesting and very easy to read. I loved the meditations that it included and I really do believe that it taught me a lot.
Just as I have always been drawn to Wicca, there has always been a draw for me to Celtic items and the Fae. Both are areas I intend to be learning more about on my path. My Wiccan journey will definitely include both areas as they are quite comforting and feel as if they are where I belong.
I was excited to obtain some knowledge of the Fae that I was able to pass to my daughter as well. I am slowly teaching her. She loves magick and faeries and is very eager to learn. I had her work with me to set up a specific area of our garden for the Fae. We planted flowers together and picked out a couple of statues we thought would appeal to them. We work together to keep it neat and tidy, free of weeds. Also leave out fresh water for them and little cookies or cakes on occasion. I want to get some of the flowers that were specifically mentioned in the lesson as them liking. We are also hoping to build a little house for them in the next couple of weeks. It is helping to motivate her to help me to clean as I explained they do not like untidy areas. ;)
All in all it was a great lesson! I can't wait to move onto the next :))))
