Merry Meet :))) How many of you have heard of witch stones? They are also sometimes known as hag stones, fairy stones, Odin Stones, holed stones, or holey stones. Give you one guess what they look like. :)
That's right, these stones are exactly what their name describes. They are stones that you find in nature that have holes in them. The hole must go all the way through the stone in order for it to be a true witch's stone. These types of stones are very rare to find. If you find one, you should consider it a gift from Mother Earth and the divine. If you happen across one on your journeys be sure to pick it up and take it home with you.
These stones can help provide you with enhanced magickal power. They also help protect against negative energies and malevolent spirits. They can will help protect you both spiritually and physically. Sailors use to hang these on their boats when they found them to help keep them all safe.
If you do get lucky enough to find one, I would make it into a necklace to wear on you all the time. :))))) You can also hang this stone over your bed to prevent nightmares. Some other ideas are to hang it throughout your home and on your property for protection.
There is a legend that if you hold the hole of the stone to your eye you can see creatures from realms other then our own.
Love and Blessings,
