Astrological Herbs

The process of using herbs based on astrology is an ancient system. It is proven that many physical ailments correspond to our astrological signs. This is part of what was used to establish this list. This list is a collection of herbs that I have found in my travels in a variety of books and articles. I am not familiar with all of them, so before using them please be sure to research the herb and become familiar with it. If you are pregnant, nursing, or trying to become pregnant or have any chronic illnesses please check with a doctor before using any herbs.

Aries
Ailments: sinuses, gums, eyes, upper brain, high fever, blood impurities
Herbs: blessed thistle, broom, cayenne, cowslip, garlic, gentian, honeysuckle, marjoram, mustard seed, nettle, yellow dock.

Taurus
Ailments: neck, throat, tonsils, vocal cords, lower brain
Herbs: bearberry, coltsfoot, dandelion, goldenrod, lovage, plantain, sage, thyme

Gemini
Ailments: hands, arms, shoulders, lungs
Herbs: caraway seed, dog grass, flax seed, lavender, parsley, scullcap, vervain, yarrow

Cancer
Ailments: stomach, liver, breasts, pancreas, esophogas
Herbs: agrimony, betony, chickweed, honeysuckle, hyssop, lemon verbena, marigold

Leo
Ailments: spinal cord, heart
Herbs: anise, bay leaves, calendula, dill, endive, fennel seed, laurel, lavender, licorice root, marigold, mint, mistletoe, poppy seed, rue, St. John's wort, walnut

Virgo
Ailments: liver, spleen, intestines, abdominal region
Herbs: fennel seed, licorice, scullcap, valerian

Libra
Ailments: Skin, back, kidneys
Herbs: angelica, archangel, bearberry, burdock, hearts ease, primrose, thyme, violet, verbena

Scorpio
Ailments: prostrate, urethra, rectum, bladder, reproductive organs, bones in nasal area
Herbs: basil, blessed thistle, horseradish, horehound, leek, sarsaparilla, wormwood

Sagittarius
Ailments: hips, thighs, sciatic nerve, buttocks
Herbs: agrimony, betony, burdock, chickory, dandelion, may apple, oak bark, red clover

Capricorn
Ailments: knees, bones, gallbladder, skin
Herbs: comfrey, horsetail, knot weed, nightshade, shepherd's purse, slippery elm, thyme

Aquarius
Ailments: calves, ankles, retina, nervous system, arterial circulation
Herbs: frankincense, myrrh, snake root, southernwood, spikenard, valerian root

Pisces
Ailments: lymph system, feet, toes
Herbs: Irish moss, kings fern, seaweed, sea lettuce, sea spirit
