The Magick of Flowers

The Magick of Flowers

Today I did a bit of midwinter Spring cleaning lol :)))) All the Yule decorations are finally down and I put up a bunch of Spring decorations all over my house to brighten things up. :)))) So even though my yard is filled with snow, inside the house it's beautiful and cheery as we look forward to that first flower poking through in a couple months.  We usually have the tiny purple crocuses that come up in March right around Ostara.  So those tiny purple crocuses mean Spring to me. :)))) Throughout history flowers have been extremely important, not only for their beauty but because they were used for their messages as well.

Today red roses are still sent to tell someone that you love them, and a bright bouquet may be given to cheer someone up.  How many flowers do you know the meaning of?  This is helpful to know not only to give messages to loved ones but also when raising energy for your intentions.  You may wish to choose flowers corresponding to the work you have at hand.  So let's take a closer look.
