Have you ever noticed that any time you are able to get into the quiet of the woods or a field or anyplace outdoors really where there is fresh air and minimal amounts of people you take a deep breath almost immediately by instinct?
As an empath, you are sensitive to all the energy that surrounds you on a daily basis. You are particularly sensitive to the energy of the emotions of others. That's what makes you an empath. If you think about it though, would it not make sense that the energy of Mother Nature would be naturally grounding for you?
Empaths have become the latest buzz term for internet marketing which I find incredibly disappointing honestly. One of the things that bothers me though is there is so much emphasis on the negative aspects of it? Yes crowds can be overwhelming. However a few hours in the quiet of the woods with birds and flowers and all that wonderful energy that Mother Nature has to offer you, you will find incredibly rejuvenating. That walk in the woods has it's health benefits for you like everyone else, fresh air and exercise, but it's so much more than that for an empath.
When you are out there put your hands on various trees, pick up stones, if you are by a brook or lake take an extra moment to feel the water. It may sound a little crazy but those extra moments that you take to connect can really help to balance your energy and help you to connect.
What if you don't have access to the woods or a place that you can get out and connect to nature every day? My home is filled with plants and I've been so much happier since we've added them. They are in pretty much every room and every space I can fit one! I absolutely love the green everywhere in the house. Do what you can to bring nature into your house. Consider things like plants, table top fountains, noises from nature, you can even get potted trees. Do whatever you can to increase your time with nature and your connections with nature. You will find that it's a huge help.
Have a magickal day!
Much Love and Many Blessings,
