Mythology: “Nut (pronounced noot) is the Egyptian Goddess of the night sky, also known as the Great Deep, the Celestial Vault, who daily gives birth to the sun each morning, then consumes it again each night. Disapproving of the incest of Nut as she lay over her brother Geb, the Earth, Ra, the sun or high God, had them pried apart. Nut was then lifted into the sky where she remains, her body formed into an arch. Painted inside the inner lid of a sarcophagus, she mothers and protects the dead on their journey.

Nut’s twinkling vast dark vault stretches out in your life to remind you to open up to the mystery. Have you been planning every aspect of your life and left no room for mystery? Is your life wound up too tight? Are you trying to make everything safe by defining it, labeling it, knowing it all? Give way to the mystery, the unknowable. The Wise Woman knows there is much in the universe that will remain a mystery and leaves space for it in the weaving of her life. Nut says the way to nurture wholeness is for you to trust that the mystery you let in will be exactly what you need for your journey to wholeness.

Sometimes when things are challenging or difficult it may be because you are going against the grain.  Try to really go with the flow today and see where your path leads you.  If you have been working really hard to obtain something see if there are signs on your path today to let you know that the universe is working to help you achieve what you want.  

Let go today and see where the path takes you.  Enjoy the world that surrounds you and pay attention to all the little things.

The Mystical Shaman Oracle

Things have a way of crossing my path that are amazing to work with. Tarot and Oracle decks always seem to find their way to me. I honestly can't remember how the Mystic Shaman Oracle deck found it's way to me! Isn't that funny? While I've only had it a few short weeks now it's one of those decks that feels like it's been in my hands forever. It reads like it's been with me forever.

May of you know that I love using oracle cards at the end of the tarot readings that I do because I love the voice of the oracles. While I read the cards and let you know what I see and what your guides are showing me, the Oracles give your guides a voice. It let's me step out of the way for a moment as the medium and talk to you. I almost always love the results as well. I find that Oracles often validate what I've seen through the entire reading and I'll be honest sometimes they say things better than I do!

I ran these cards as a bonus with any tarot reading for several days to give them a run. I knew I was meant to read with them right away and I can honestly say they didn't disappoint. They've been appearing in my readings frequently since I got them. They are unbelievably accurate. At points their accuracy has shocked me a bit. When I get a new oracle card deck I don't go through each card. I use them and let them come to me in the order that they are meant to. It's one of my little quirks as a reader. The cards have been amazing in offering advice to go along with the readings that I've been doing and validating what I'm seeing.

The cards are beautiful to work with. The art is amazing and the art has so much going on that it allows you to see beyond what's immediately apparent if you wish to pull additional information which is something I find important when working with a deck. The descriptions of the cards are really well thought out and help to give you specific information that you will find helpful on your path. This is definitely a deck that i think you will enjoy working with if it calls to you.

Merry Meet :)))))) As many of you know I have quite the collection of Tarot and Oracle card decks. I adore the artwork and the cards. I recently picked up the Indigo Angel Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and I am loving it! If you are new to the tarot or working with the cards, Oracle cards are a great place to start. I particularly love Doreen Virtue's work, because her messages and cards always have an amazingly beautiful energy on them and loving message.

This deck called out to me as soon as I saw the announcement of it's publication. Many of us are Indigos and Star Children. My son is a Crystal Child. If you are unsure what any of this is, there is an amazing website that helps to explain what Starchildren are. You can find it here: http://www.starchildren.info/ You hear me say that we are highly sensitives and lightworkers all the time, Starchildren is another term to describe who we are and what we do, so if you've not had the chance to learn about them, that website is a great place to start.

Back to the cards! Knowing Doreen Virtue and her work, I expected these cards to resonate highly with me and I was not disappointed. Doreen worked on this deck with her son Charles who is an Indigo.

After perusing the cards they definitely do deal with a lot of issues that we will encounter on our path. The messages are very helpful in navigating your way on your path. I would recommend drawing one card each morning and asking your guides to show you the card that is the message they want you to know on that day. This helps to facilitate communication between you and your guides and open your intuition to hearing them clearer when they wish to give you messages.

The witch is a symbol of the hidden feminine powers that make life possible.  As humans, our greatest ability is that of creation.  We  have a great potential for both creation and destruction.  When the witch comes into your life, it is time to bring out all of your guns.  Use your intuition to know how to apply your efforts.  Use spell casting and wish craft to bring extra symbolic spice to your effort.  When we make wishes or spells, we add potent emotional meaning to our desires.  We inform our unconscious of hidden powers of control.  Even just feeling that you have control over your surroundings can make a big difference in your life.  Attempt an exercise where you practice believing that you have influence over everything around you.  Once you believe this, many things will change around you.

I pulled this card this morning for Moonsong Daily Magick.  As soon as I pulled it I felt urged to not only share it with them but with you as well.
