The Egret as Your Totem

The Egret as Your Totem

Merry Meet :)))

How many of you have had the pleasure of viewing one of these beautiful birds out in the wild? :)))))) I am lucky enough to have them near where I live. On this one lake I walk around quite frequently, I will see at least one on every walk. :)))) They are just beautiful. :)))

So let's take a closer look at the Egret as your totem. If you've ever seen one in person flying, one of the first thing you will probably notice is how graceful and balanced they look when they fly. They always appear to just float above the water. The second thing that you will notice is their extra long legs and feel gliding behind them as they fly.

The Egret teaches us grounding, balance and strength. When you watch them fly, their feet and long legs should remind you to stay grounded on your path. The fact that their legs are so long will remind you that they help you learn to stand on your own two feet. They are amazing at helping you get grounded and then find that inner voice and strength that you need on your path. :))))) When you pair these two traits together you get balance.

It's really important in life to make sure that you are always grounded and centered and coming from a place of love and not fear. You've heard me talk about that a lot lately. It really can change your entire perspective on the world. When you always ensure that you are grounded and coming from a place of love it really can eliminate a lot of worry and fear in your life, and therefore help to keep you balanced. :))))))

The Egret has an amazing connection to the Earth element and our Mother Earth. The Egret will bring you amazing strength on your journey. If you are looking for a totem animal to help you on your path with strength and balance the Egret is a top choice for me. :)))))
